Captain Kevin de Bruyne missed a penalty in the first-half, as the super Sunday clash between Manchester City and Liverpool ended in a one-all draw at the Etihad Stadium.
Mo Salah scored the opening goal in the 13th minute from the penalty spot, after Kyle Walker brought down Sadio Mane in the 18-yard. Gabriel Jesus levelled matters for the Cityzens after the half-hour mark. Kevin de Bruyne missed the chance to have won it for City, but he missed a penalty in the 42nd minute.
Man City still remain out of the top 10 on the log with 12 points in 7 matches, while Liverpool missed the chance to go back to the top of the table, sitting 3rd with 17 points in their first 8 games.
