PSG break Arsenal’s record to reach UCL final

French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain has qualified for their first-ever UEFA Champions League final by breaking Arsenal’s record, after defeating Bundesliga side RB Leipzig 3-0 in the semifinal.


Thomas Tuchel’s team scored the opener in the 13th minute with a Marquinhos header. Angel Di Maria scored the second goal after a brilliant flick from Neymar 3 minutes before the break. Left-back Juan Bernat scored the final goal in the 56th minute to send the Parisians to their first-ever final in 50 years.


According to OPTA, reached their first-ever European Cup/Champions League final after their 110th game in the competition, the most played by a side before reaching their first final, overtaking Arsenal's record of 90 between 1971-2006.
