Match of the Week

Atl Madrid V Barcelona

Atletico Madrid v Barcelona 21/11/2020 21:00

The Wanda Metropolitano will be the venue as Atletico Madrid will be welcoming Barcelona to the capital city in a classic La Liga clash on Saturday.

In the last 29 La Liga meetings between these two teams, Atletico Madrid have won only 4 games, while Barcelona have won 17 matches, with the other 7 ending in a draw. The capital clubs have not defeated the Catalan giants in the Spanish league in ten years.

Atleti will be without Luis Suarez and Lucas Torreira, who both tested positive for Coronavirus, while Stefan Savic, Hector Herrera, Sime Vrsaljko, and Mario Hermoso are out due to injury, while Diego Costa is a major doubt. Barcelona, on the other hand, will miss Sergio Busquets, Ansu Fati, and Ronald Araujo due to injury.

Diego Simeone has not defeated Barcelona in the La Liga since he took charge of the club, and will want to pick all 3 points while the Catalan giants are vulnerable, but it is a big task as Suarez will be missing. This will be an enticing clash.
